Jessica Goedeke (b. St. Louis, 2001) is an American photographer based between Kansas and Missouri. She currently attends University of Kansas to receive a B.F.A. in Design with a photography concentration and a minor in journalism. She is expected to graduate in May 2023. Through her personal experience and exploration of the world, her work centers around documenting her perspective of mundane environment to convey an emotional interaction in an intrapersonal, interpersonal, and social way. Jessica spends large amounts of time in a location looking at complex narratives that can be framed in a simple photograph. She considers every detail about her subjects and environments that sparks the viewer’s reactions.
